The work I do with clients is collaborative, always focused on your agenda, talents, and unique capacities for growth. I take a holistic approach, knowing that what affects one part of your life also affects the other parts, and help you to integrate your past history and present concrete needs with your future goals.

Originating in my former career as a labor and employment attorney, I am very much an advocate. Additionally, I am a certified mediator and an executive coach. I use all of these tools when working with my clients, recognizing that practical problem-solving addressing immediate challenges establishes a foundation for the exploration and resolution of more long-standing issues.
I work with individual clients from age 17 to those well past traditional retirement age. I also treat couples of all configurations. My doctoral research explored factors that contribute to the longevity of coupled relationships. Experience has taught me that all couples are different. So, although I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, I integrate other approaches to couples work, including that of Harville Hendrix’s Imago Therapy and attachment based couples therapy. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) to assist clients dealing with trauma.
